Elmore State Park offers a charming blend of overnight camping, a day-use area by the lake, and scenic hiking opportunities. To access the lake and hiking trails, a day-use fee is required, and the hours are from 10 AM until the official sunset. The campground gate remains open throughout the season, allowing campers the freedom to come and go as they please.

Beautiful campground in the center of VT. Campsite #25 worked perfectly for our tent. We didn't have anyone behind us. We stayed at the beginning of October so the campground was not vey full. Hiked up Mt. Elmore a well. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
