The forest at Mt. Salak is so peaceful 🥺🫶 I spent most of the way in silence, contemplating, and chatting with friends. Luckily, the trail was quiet (a far cry from Mt. Gepang), so it felt truly serene. By the way, I climbed Peak 1 via Cimelati. By the way, the climb took about 6 hours, and thankfully, it wasn't too much of a struggle. Those who have climbed Mt. Pangrango via Cibodas shouldn't be too surprised. Oh yeah, Mt. Salak has strict rules about bringing in trash, so you have to be really responsible with your belongings. Try to be on your way down by 1:00 PM. There are springs up to post 2 of the 6 posts. There are no stalls here, so be prepared. The peak is also closed and monotonous. The best photo spot is at the floating tree 🤩. Be careful, guys, if you want to take photos there. That's all, overall I'm really happy with Salak 1 🫶🫶

The climb is very difficult and quite expensive, and there's no view from the top. Avoid it.
