We absolutely love coming here, especially with our little boy who is obsessed with dinosaurs. Although we had a little bit of a disappointing visit today. The member of staff at the gate was friendly, but every single staff after that looked miserable, no desire to give any information about the caves ect. We wanted to get an ice-cream. Our little boy has a dairy allergy, so we asked if they did sorbet or ice lolly's and apparently they didn't, the member of staff just kept awkwardly laughing which wasn't helpful. We then saw another family with ice lolly's after and they said they got them from the cafe, so unsure if staff need to be told what you sell? Also for the amount of children visiting the tiny inside play area just doesn't cut it for the price of tickets and children there, it's just absolute chaos. Also why does it shut so early? 4pm? They have an amazing little train that takes you up and down the hill, but it had stopped by 3.30? Why wouldn't you have the last train up at 4.05 if the park at the bottom shuts at 4? This may well be our last visit as the ticket price for a 3 year old is very steep for what they can do ect. Spending nearly £100 here on a day out just isn't quite worth it.
