Beautiful place, great for walks and photos! The only downside is that the entrance fee is quite expensive and doesn't include anything (R$ 55). Parking is also expensive (R$ 38). But the place is wonderful and well signposted.

The Caminhos do Mar trail is a beautiful place with an interesting history, and the view from the top is one of the highlights of the visit. However, in my opinion, the route is more suitable for those who want to walk, run, or do some physical activity than for a family outing. For children, the elderly, or people with mobility limitations, it can be quite strenuous, especially for those entering through Cubatão and needing to climb and descend. Furthermore, there is no basic support infrastructure along the route: we didn't find restrooms, water fountains, or trash cans. On a long and tiring journey, this absence makes a big difference, especially for families with children and the elderly. In these cases, the options end up being to face the entire route or pay a high price for internal transportation (R$47.00 per person), which is added to the entrance fee (R$55.00 + R$47.00 for parking). Considering all these costs and the lack of infrastructure along the way, I didn't feel the experience justified the prices charged. The natural beauty and historical importance of the place are undeniable, but I believe the prices could be more compatible with the structure and experience offered. It would also be important to install restrooms, water fountains, and trash cans in strategic locations, making the visit safer, more comfortable, and more accessible.
