Sadly over 2000 Nisga'a souls lost their lives when Tseax exploded and the the viscous lava buried 2 villages. An unbelievable sight to see the amount of lava. Approximately 30km. Well worth the drive up. Take atleast 2 days and enjoy the whole Nass Valley. There are 4 Nisga'a villages to visit. The Nisga'a people are incredible people. You will enjoy meeting some.
