My second year camping here in late season and it is absolutely lovely! As long as you make sure to book early, the rest of the experience is very easy. Rangers are friendly and helpful, firewood is inexpensive, and the campgrounds are well spaced - my large and loud group has never gotten shushed (which was not always the case in other places)

Went for my first ATV ride here today. Alot of trails to ride on. Very rocky in parts, make sure your equipment is up for it and take your time. You can flip your quad in parts of the trail if your not careful or hit a tree. The Potter Mountain entrance is free, just park and ride. Make sure you register your quad and put the state decals on.
