Wind River Canyon is one of the most beautiful drives I've experienced in Wyoming. The canyon walls, rushing river, and incredible rock formations make this a must-see if you're traveling between Shoshoni and Thermopolis. There are several pull-offs where you can safely stop to take photos or simply enjoy the views and listen to the river. The scenery changes around every bend, and it's hard not to pull over multiple times. What amazed me most was learning that some of the exposed rock layers are over 2.5 billion years old. The combination of natural beauty and geological history makes this drive unforgettable. If you're passing through the area, don't rush it. Take your time and enjoy one of Wyoming's hidden gems. Highly recommended!

Nice winding roads thru a canyon where the water travels uphill!! Of course that's an optical illusion, but seems to very much better the case.
