Editorial Assessment

Red Fork Falls is a charming and peaceful natural spot popular for light outdoor activities like wading and strolling nearby trails but it lacks the scale, unique geological formations, or significant natural rarity to make it highly iconic. It scores well as a local recreation area accessible to many visitors, especially those seeking a quiet waterfall experience. However, it does not rank among the world’s most unique or remarkable natural attractions given its modest size and typical landscape features.

We missed it. Didn't know the trail was across the creek so we went up the road. Nice walk. Will be back to find the falls

My new favorite Hidden waterfall. Minimal trailside parking with no signs, but the trail is obvious. Two creek crossings to get to the top of the waterfall, and a slippery rock and root scramble downhill to reach the base. Not for the faint of heart; tricky with some risk and ded requires agility but nothing I'd consider overly dangerous. I think it was about a mile round-trip.
