Spectacular Views: Pha Nguen Trailhead

Randonnée courte mais très raide et qui peut être dangereuse surtout pendant la descente, les roches et la boue en temps de pluie peuvent être glissantes et de plus, très coupantes. Il faut donc faire attention et même si j'y ai vu des enfants je ne dirais pas que c'est adapté à tout le monde ! Mais le point de vue au sommet est très beau !

Very steep hike. Went after a night of rain and it was slippery and slightly dangerous if unprepared. View was fantastic and viewpoint 1. Was totally empty up there too.

A magnificent hike. Allow at least 3-4 hours for the round trip to reach the highest peak, with very steep slopes through the rocks. The famous buggy is located on the first summit, easily accessible.

Great destination! Enjoyed the open trail and peaceful outdoor atmosphere.

May 2026 Did both viewpoint the same day, starting at 9h30. Would recommend to go sooner and pack at least 3 liters of water per person if you want to visit both viewpoint. Take something to eat aswell. Good Grip choose are mandatory. Mosquito repellent aswell or you will be punctured as soon as you stop. Wouldn't recommend it to unfit person. Entrance cost 20k lkip. There is a parking with a a lady checking ticket. Took me around 3h start to come back including 20 min rest. Drunk 3liter of water + a Pepsi at the parking (they keep cool drink in a fridge). Payed 25 lkip for a can. Started with a group of Lao. They went to the buggy viewpoint (the first, on the left at the intersection). I crossed only one person on the second viewpoint. It a is stip and slippery climb, often requiring to use both hands.
