Beware of the new regulations, entry to the park requires a permit, the price for locals is 1000 AMD, for foreigners 2000 AMD. The permit must be obtained before entering the park at the office in Meghri. There are regular checks in the park. Payment for the permit is only by transfer to the park account, or by bank payment with a fee of about 400 AMD. All that remains is to believe that the park management will find a more reasonable way to issue the permit and pay the fee.

Located in the southern Syunik region, this park protects the rugged slopes and forests of the Meghri mountain range bordering Iran. Its ecosystem is a critical habitat for the endangered Persian leopard and features a unique blend of semi-desert and mountain flora, significant for biodiversity conservation.
