About This Adventure Destination

Victoria Falls: A Natural Wonder in Zimbabwe

Victoria Falls, nestled between Zimbabwe and Zambia, presents a dramatic portrait of nature's grandeur. As the Zambezi River plummets over the edge, it creates one of the largest and most famous waterfalls in the world. Known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya, meaning 'the Smoke that Thunders,' the falls are renowned for their breathtaking beauty and powerful cascades.

Visitors can witness the impressive waterfall, often surrounded by a perpetual mist and vibrant rainbows. The Victoria Falls Rainforest offers a unique ecosystem, thriving due to the constant presence of moisture from the falls. This remarkable site is home to diverse plant species and wildlife, making it a biodiverse haven.

Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Victoria Falls not only captures the eye but also holds historical significance. It was first brought to international attention by explorer David Livingstone in 1855, contributing to its legendary status. This iconic natural landmark stands out for its sheer size and the thundering roar of water, offering an unforgettable experience for all who visit.

The price for foreign adults was $58. Card payments are accepted, and there are no fees. It's a straight road and you can walk there from the city center.

The entrance fee of 58 usd per visit is outrageous. On the Zambian side, if you stay in Avani/Royal Livingston, you can go to the park for free for as many times as you want.
