Tropical Paradise at STORY Seychelles

Title: Disastrous Honeymoon Stay – Misleading, Unhygienic, and Zero Service We booked 8 nights at Stay in Story Seychelles for our honeymoon, expecting a relaxing and luxurious experience. What we got was the worst hotel stay we’ve ever had. We arrived at 3:30 PM, only to be told the room wasn’t ready. We were left waiting in the lobby for 2 full hours. Prior to arrival, we sent multiple emails — including one clearly stating that we were honeymooners requesting an all-inclusive package — but received no reply. When we finally got to the room, it was disgusting. There were stains on the bed, hairs, and even blood on the sheets. We asked for housekeeping but were told they don’t clean after 6 PM. The next morning, we requested cleaning again and left for breakfast, only to return and find the room untouched. Breakfast was just as bad: the area smelled terrible, there were insects and wooden boards underneath the serving containers, and overall hygiene was unacceptable. The staff were rude, inattentive, and unhelpful, ignoring guest requests. We ordered a medium-well steak through in-room dining — it arrived two hours later and was served rare. The beach was filthy, totally unmaintained, and nothing like the photos. To make it worse, the hotel falsely advertises having 9 dining outlets, but only 2 were open. The place was completely dead, with no activities or entertainment whatsoever. It felt abandoned — definitely not a resort atmosphere. When I complained and asked to speak to the hotel manager, they sent me the security manager, who informed me that the reception staff had labeled us as horrible and troublemakers. This was incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional, especially given the poor experience we were already having. We ended up checking out the very next day. This was supposed to be our honeymoon, and it turned into a nightmare. We would never recommend this hotel to anyone. The service, cleanliness, and honesty of their listing are completely unacceptable.

Unforgettable stay Top hotel Pleasant and friendly staff, truly a magical place in an exceptional park with lush vegetation. Magnificent breakfast buffet. Very beautiful white sand beach with blue sea. A big congratulations.

Hotel, room and facilities are good. Excellence location on the beach. Good variety of dining options. There is a problem is with the service, breakfast, room service - all fail at certain point. Also it is recommended to have at least one restaurant with A/C or at least have more ventilation on main locations.
