This is a nice esy going trail into Maine largest water fall. Lots of tree roots so make sure you pick up your feet. The views are beautiful, the air is clean, and the water is cold. If you want to go in the water think about a towel and some water shoes the rocks getting to the water can be sharp and slippery.

Moxie Falls was a fantastic quick hike, well worth the stop. The trail is well marked and easy to follow, mostly flat with just some elevation change near the falls, where you descend to the viewing area and climb back up on the return. In and out, the whole hike took us no more than an hour to an hour and a half. The payoff is incredible: Moxie Falls is the largest single drop waterfall in Maine, and the view does not disappoint. As a bonus, we spotted an owl along the trail, which made the hike even more memorable. Easy, accessible, and beautiful. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a short hike with a big reward.
