Strenuous hike but soooo worth it.

Be prepared for a pretty rigorous hike. About 1.8 mi in and out. The hot springs are nice, but when we went it was a bit overcrowded. Truly a sight to behold, and I recommend going at least once.

We arrived on a Thursday at about 11. The main parking was full, so we parked along the road. Still giving it 5 stars though, because the springs are spectacular, and BLM has made arrangements with private propery owners to allow passing through their land (thank you property owners!). The hike starts with steep switchbacks, then flattens out for most of the 4 mi round trip, until near the springs, where it gets steep again. There were at least 10 pools to choose from - the higher ones were too hot, so I continued downstream until I came to a temp I liked.
