The boardwalk sections are short, and so is the trail overall, making it perfect for seniors, families with small children, or anyone looking for an easy, relaxing walk. Even though it’s a shorter trail, there’s so much to discover if you slow down. Around every bend, you’ll find another little hidden treasure waiting to be noticed. One of my favorite things was the air. It smelled different—cleaner, fresher, almost like the salt marsh and the woods had their own way of washing away the stress. It was one of those places where you can truly take a deep breath and feel your shoulders relax. This would be a wonderful place to grab takeout from a nearby restaurant, find a quiet spot by the water, and simply let the worries of the world drift away. My only complaint? I wish it were closer to my house because I know I’d be here all the time. I’ll definitely be back. 🌿💚
