Refreshing Escapes: Blue Hole Regional Park

Always love my trips to blue hole!

Denied my dog, whose like my service dog and didn't give me a refund.

We reserved a 2pm-6pm slot for our family to swim and the swim hole itself was great. Well maintained. Clean. Great. At 545 we were yelled at by a worker that we needed to get out of the water and not even 5 minutes later we were told we needed to hurry up because the place closing at 6. She was very rude in her delivery and I feel like my reservation should be until 545 if we are going to be kicked out of the water then. It’s not an inexpensive reservation either.

We had a rebooking for blue hole and set it up for a random Thursday because of availability. There were three of us that attended. The lady that checked us in was very excited and boisterous and engaging. We checked out the area for vending and tube blow up, we also visited the restrooms. When we went down to get into the water, we found a great spot in the shade. We jumped in the water carefully with our tubes and enjoyed the shaded spot. We were only in the area for about 30 minutes because of lightning, and so we were asked to exit the water. During this time, our friend with diabetes had unexpected drop in their blood sugar and we had to rush her to the car for cool air. That left two of us to carry up three peoples things. One of the state park employees named Sebastian graciously offered to help carry our things up with us. Because we did not have enough hands, but he helped us gather up everything. He also told us that there was popsicles and fruit snacks to help our friend with her low blood sugar. He grabbed some snacks for us and even ran them out to our car. He definitely went above and beyond, and we were simply so delighted to have someone care that much. Thank you Sebastian.

Very small and not blue at all !! Not worth the money we paid ..
