What's not to like? I have been on numerous occasions, and never get tired of meeting those cheeky monkeys. Snowy season is best to take nice pictures of them bathing, but the queue of visitors can be very very long. Better crowd management is desperately needed then....

One of the most memorable experiences from our Japan trip! 🤍 Walking through the forest to see the snow monkeys in their natural surroundings was such a unique experience. The peaceful mountain views, fresh air and beautiful nature made the whole walk worth it. Definitely a must-visit if you’re exploring this side of Japan!
