This was a great campsite to stay at for the night before doing my backpacking for Ostrander Lake. I came in and left before office hours, but they had a lot of information and instructions when checking in and checking out of my campsite at the check-in booth. I was close to the restrooms which also had a spot on the backside to fill up containers. The creek wasn’t running so I didn’t see or hear any water but I’m sure it’s gorgeous closer to spring. The information online on recreation.org is accurate when they give measurements for the parking spots for each campsite so really measure your vehicle and trailer or whatever you have because they mean it.

Great spot, located above the valley, where it's significantly cooler and, most importantly, quieter. It's a 30-40 minute drive to the valley floor, depending on speed and traffic. The host is very friendly and attentive to his guests. We had a fantastic time!
