This geological wonder, known for its rainbow-hued mountains, offers a stunning visual feast shaped millions of years ago by the forces of plate tectonics, erosion, and weathering. The multicolored layers of sandstone, sculpted into peaks and valleys, reveal a stunning array of reds, oranges, yellows, and browns, making it one of the most unique natural landscapes in China.

Went there with friends in 2015. Not many tourist at that time. We took a bus from the closest city to reach the moutains. We had a walk all around it, and it, for sure, was nice. The moutains are colorful, you won't see that many times. It's pretty hot there, take care to protect yourself from the sun!

One of the shining stars in all of China. Unfortunately you're not allowed to explore the park on your own. You are limited to specific spots that the buses take you to. And those spots get very crowded. However the layered rocks and mountains are worth it. This is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been.

Amazing experience, I had such a great time here! It's wonderful. To get there from Zhangye you can take a bus at 12h, 13h or 15h from the west bus station And the last bus leaves at 18h30 from the west entrance of the park.
