I went to Dunns Creek State Park , Blue Pond Walk In Site today. They have a nice large gravel parking area. There are picnic tables and charcoal grills. They even have a bathroom. It looks like it might have a composting toilet. Evidently there isn’t any running water there, so they have a portable sink to wash your hands with a foot pedal. Dogs are allowed as long as they are on a leash and their waste is picked up. The trails looked nice, but I only walked in a short distance. I plan to come back sometime to walk it with a friend.

Beautiful forest with varied terrain, unlike anything in Northeast Florida. Great trails for horseback riding.

**Warning: 7/24 Green Algae** This park has an amazing fishing or viewing dock and kayak launch. It also has picnic tables, a barbecue, and an outhouse-style bathroom. We saw an alligator float by and a family of deer. The green algae made some beautiful patterns in the water.

Nice little State Park area right off the main road. I definitely would not rate this as a 5 star hiking trail with so many other fantastic trails around to choose from. Contrary to the other reviews that were done previously but maybe they don't hike nearly as often. Still a cute area to stop they do have a small picnic area with a couple of tables but with a busy road right there not a noise free location. There are also some trails for people but there was not much wildlife. The park does have handicapped parking.

Pure nature! It's you the trail and your dog or friends. This is a walk in site and virtually you're on your own. Beautiful oaks, palms of all sorts and tons of giant banana spiders. If you like nature it's a great place to check out.
