Two Courses, One Technical Path
Taken together, TDI Advanced Nitrox and TDI Decompression Procedures form the foundational training for technical diving; teaching both in conjunction gives a more integrated understanding and is often delivered as a single, economical program.
Advanced Nitrox: EAN 21–100 and Practical Limits
The TDI Advanced Nitrox portion qualifies divers to use enriched air nitrox from EAN 21 through EAN 100 within their certification limits, permitting nitrox dives to a maximum depth of 130 feet for dives that do not require staged decompression.
Planned Staged Decompression Training
The Decompression Procedures course introduces planned staged decompression diving with a maximum operating depth of 150 feet, preparing divers for the protocols and limits beyond normal sport diving.
