The Looking Glass is Virginia’s first immersive art space, an enchanted forest of site-specific installations created by more than two dozen local artists. Presented by the Ix Art Park Foundation in downtown Charlottesville, the exhibit is designed as a sensory, whimsical escape where new works are continually added and every visit can reveal something different.

Tickets are sold for a specific date and entry time; visitors typically spend 20–30 minutes inside but may stay longer during operating hours. The last entrance is permitted up to 60 minutes before closing.
Bring a printed or downloaded ticket on your smartphone; do not bring outside food or beverage. Strollers are permitted and the space is stroller-accessible.
The Looking Glass is located at Ix Art Park in downtown Charlottesville, with entrances off Monticello Ave & Second Street SE and at Blenheim Ave & Sixth Street SE.
Tickets must be used on the date and time purchased; purchasing online in advance is strongly recommended. UVA students receive a 20% discount with code UVA2023 and must show student ID at arrival.
