Is there a minimum age to drive?
There is no absolute minimum age to drive a quad, but manufacturers recommend ages for specific machines and the State of Oregon has rider fit requirements; one person in the group must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and minors must be accompanied by an adult on a separate machine.
Can children ride single-seat quads?
Children between roughly ages 8–10 and/or about 48" tall may be able to ride a single-seat quad if they meet size-and-fit requirements; parents are responsible for determining fit and no refunds are given if a child does not fit properly.
Are driver’s license and credit card required at check-in?
Yes—operators require showing a driver’s license at the office; drivers for certain machines (for example, multi-seat Talon and Pioneer models) must be 25+ and a credit card deposit (typically $1,000 per machine) may be held at rental time.
