Bring a backpack, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat and comfortable hiking/walking shoes. Depending on season, bring a coat and warm hat. Because the approach is on sand, a face covering for the ride is recommended; face coverings are available for purchase in the office.
The trip includes a friendly, knowledgeable guide, bottled water, and helmets and goggles for riders.
Gratuity for your guide and transport to/from the trailhead are not included. Face coverings are not included but are sold in the office (priced at $3 each or 2 for $5).
The hiking portion covers approximately 0.9 miles round trip with about 300 feet of elevation change; terrain includes sandy track, steep steps and a rock pathway with guardrail.
Helmets and goggles are required and provided; riders must be able to fasten the machine's seat belt. Drivers must have a current, valid driver’s license and be able to speak and understand English.
