After checking in at the Kailua Beach Adventures shop you’ll get a guide briefing, wheel kayaks down to the sand and paddle about half a mile through sea turtle feeding grounds to reach Popoi'a Island. There the guide leads an eco-walk around the seabird sanctuary, then you paddle back with trade-wind assistance, rinse off in the shop’s showers and settle in for lunch and optional snorkeling or boogie-boarding at Kailua Beach.
