What the day feels like
What the two days feel like
The first day is a steady ascent into the Sierra: a morning crossing the San Joaquin Valley, a stop to stock up on provisions, then a midday entry into Yosemite with either a sequoia hike (if trails allow) or a sequence of iconic viewpoints before you’re dropped at Yosemite Valley Lodge to make the Valley your own. On the return day you reboard for more photo stops, descend the Sierras and arrive back toward evening.
