Great place! Gene at the ranger station was TOP NOTCH! Awesome facilities and a great experience PLUS most of the tent sites come with a "Bonus Skunk". Just let her do what she do, she cool!

My second year camping here in late season and it is absolutely lovely! As long as you make sure to book early, the rest of the experience is very easy. Rangers are friendly and helpful, firewood is inexpensive, and the campgrounds are well spaced - my large and loud group has never gotten shushed (which was not always the case in other places)

We visited from out of state and enjoyed a long walk here. The trails are not always well-marked, so take a pic of the map if use a trail navigation app. There are a couple of views, but you are mostly in tree prison. You can take your dog on-leash, but we saw a number of bikers with their off-leash dogs who could not control their dogs.

Very nice area. Berry Pond is really great. You can just stick around for a long time. The whole area is so peaceful and birds chirping is very soothing. We just decided to give it a try and we were very pleasantly surprised. If I am in the area again, I will sure consider visiting again.
