High Falls Gorge is a beautiful spot to visit,
especially if you’re a fan of waterfalls and nature walks. The views are stunning, and the trails are really well-maintained with some great lookout points. That being said, the park itself is a bit smaller than I expected, it doesn’t take long to get through the entire trail and also a part of the trail near the waterfall was closed unfortunately. Still, it’s worth the trip if you’re in the area, just don’t plan on spending more than an hour or so here.

The map said that it was very busy at the time I wanted to go. I was going to NOT stop because of this, but I am glad I changed my mind. It is a beautiful walk, super easy, and the trails were well maintained. Part of the walkway was under construction, but it was still worth the stop. It wasn’t too busy on the trails.

Construction was a bit of a dissapointment but Obviously it needs to be done. We did get some type of discount on tickets. we were told it wouldn't affect the views but it does due to the huge blue tarp, it's hard avoiding it in photos. It's a very pretty area and still worth doing while vacationing in the area. if I was local I would wait until construction is done.
It's a quick walk. You can do the falls trail in less then an hour. We didn't hike the other longer trail (no view of falls). Went on a Wednesday and it wasn't crowded

This is a cool tourist attraction in the Lake Placid area located near Whiteface Mountain, the falls are beautiful. The cost was $58 dollars for the three of us to enter, which includes access to the Nature trail. Aside from getting the gorgeous views of the falls, the 1.2 mile Nature trail was a lot of fun to hike as well. We spent about an hour here altogether and had a really nice time at both attractions.
