Dress for the weather and wear comfortable footwear (trainers ideal). Empty pockets are required before harness fitting—no jewellery, phones, wallets or watches. Phone pouches are available for hire on site for £2; you may use a GoPro or your own lanyard only if it has a fixed attachment.
Parking at the visitor centre costs £4; the parking ground is managed by the National Trust, not the operator.
