The Paddle Pass at Wai Kai lets you spend a full day moving across the calm surface of a 52‑acre lagoon at your own pace. Designed for all skill levels, the pass removes the usual start‑stop friction—swap between kayaks, SUPs and other available craft, float in sheltered water overseen by trained lifeguards, and explore the lagoon’s scenery without watching the clock.

A Controlled, Staffed Lagoon
The lagoon is operated as a controlled environment with lifeguards on duty and provided equipment to keep activity safe and comfortable.
Swap Crafts, Bring Your Own
Paddlers can move between kayaks, stand‑up paddleboards and other available craft throughout the day; bringing your own watercraft is allowed for a nominal daily fee after inspection and staff approval.

What a Day on the Lagoon Feels Like
A day with the Paddle Pass is unhurried: arrive, check in, don a USCG‑approved Type II PFD, and set out from the dock into calm, protected water. Switch between crafts at will, follow the flow of the lagoon, and return to shore when you’re ready—lifeguards remain on duty while you explore.

The Paddle Pass provides full‑day access to the Wai Kai Lagoon.
Bring photo ID and your booking confirmation, a bathing suit, towel, reef‑safe sunscreen and a refillable water bottle. If you bring your own watercraft there is a $10/day inspection fee.
All guests must wear an approved USCG Type II PFD while on the dock and in the lagoon; life jackets are provided by the operator.

Can I bring my own kayak or paddleboard?
Yes — you may bring your own watercraft for a $10/day fee; your craft will be inspected and must be approved by waterfront staff.
Are life jackets provided?
Yes. All guests must wear an approved USCG Type II PFD while in the lagoon and on the dock; life jackets will be provided.
What are the age and weight requirements for lagoon participants?
Participants must be at least 4 years old and at least 30 lbs. Children 17 and under require parent supervision; children under 8 must have a parent on the same watercraft, and children under 14 require a parent present on the lagoon.
What items are not allowed at the lagoon?
Outside food and beverages, coolers, tents and chairs are not allowed. Hats, sunglasses and mobile devices are not permitted on the lagoon because dropped items are not retrievable. One‑time decorations such as balloons, streamers and confetti are discouraged.
When should I arrive for my booking?
Operators recommend arriving and checking in 30 minutes prior to activity start times.
