How long is the trip on the water?
Canoes and kayaks average about 1.5 hours on the water; tubes average about 3 hours. Times are approximate and depend on paddling rate and conditions.
What are the age and size restrictions?
No child under 2 is permitted in canoes. Canoes require one adult per child under 10. Kayakers must be at least 8 years old and 4 feet tall. Tubers must be at least 10 years old or 4 feet tall, and no one under 5 is allowed on any tube trip.
Are pets allowed?
A canoe with one pet (one pet per canoe) option is available on Mondays only.
What are the rates?
Tubes are $35 all week. Canoe and kayak rates vary: Saturday–Thursday canoes $70 and kayaks $60; Fridays canoes $60 and kayaks $50. Seniors (age 55+) receive the same rate as Friday seniors on Wednesdays. A Monday canoe with pet rate is $60.
Are there transportation or deposit fees?
Yes. Transportation fees are $40 per canoe/kayak, $15 per tube and $35 for double tubes. Trip and equipment deposits are $20 for four or fewer canoes/kayaks ($40 for five or more); the same deposit schedule applies to tubes ($20 for four or fewer, $40 for five or more).
