Rentals are for 5+ hours with the exact duration determined by your chosen start time; all canoes must be returned by 8:00 pm.
Can children go in the canoe?
Children under 14 can participate only if a parent is present, has given written permission, and the parent has signed the permission form with Kanoverhuur Den Haag.
What happens if I don’t collect the canoe on time?
If the renter does not collect the canoe at the agreed time and has not informed the lessor by phone, the lessor may rent out the reserved canoes to other parties after 30 minutes.
What if I return the canoe late?
If you do not return the rental canoe at the agreed time, the lessor has the right to increase the rental fee proportionally and to charge any costs of consequential damage to the renter.
Can I bring food or stop for a meal?
Yes — you can bring your own provisions and picnic on a shore, or visit The Hague’s cafés and restaurants for lunch, dinner or a glass of wine during your outing.
