Can we swim with the dolphins?
No. Under the Marine Mammal Protection Act it is illegal to swim with, feed, hunt, harass or harm marine mammals in U.S. waterways; attempting to enter the water will also cause dolphins to swim away.
Is there a risk of getting seasick?
Sea sickness is unlikely because the route stays in sheltered backwater areas with minimal swell; however, guests prone to motion sickness should take preventive measures if desired.
What should we wear?
Wear comfortable outdoor clothing and sun protection; because the tour does not stop on a beach you do not need to plan to get your feet wet.
Will the dolphins play in the wake of the boat?
The company does not try to force dolphins into the wake; while captains will not chase them, dolphins are often curious and may approach boats—particularly when the engine is off.
