What is the age requirement for the Dolphin Encounter?
Guests participating in the Dolphin Encounter must be 4 years or older. Any guest between the ages of 4 and 12 must be accompanied by a paying adult who is also participating in the Dolphin Encounter.
What happens if my party and I are running late for our encounter time?
Participants should arrive at Sea Life Park at least one hour prior to the encounter start time. If you are running late, call (808) 259‑2500 to rebook for the next available encounter; refunds are not provided for missing your encounter time.
What is included with the Dolphin Encounter?
The Dolphin Encounter includes admission to Sea Life Park and a 30‑minute educational encounter in Dolphin Lagoon led by the animal care team. A life vest is provided and must be worn by participants.
How long is the Dolphin Encounter experience?
The encounter is 30 minutes long. All guests should arrive one hour prior to the start of their reserved slot; failure to arrive at least one hour early may result in cancellation of the booking without refund.
What should I wear to the park on the day of my encounter?
Bring a swimsuit, water shoes or rubber pool shoes if desired, and dry clothes for afterward. Jewelry of any kind may not be worn into the Dolphin Lagoon.
What do I do if I need to cancel my encounter?
Cancellations can be made by calling the reservation desk at (808) 259‑2500 at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior, or no‑shows, will be charged for the encounter.

Yes. All participants or their legal guardians are required to sign a release of liability and waiver form before participating.
