What is the difference between the Wandin orchard and the Coldstream orchard?

The only difference is location: the orchards are situated in different parts of the Yarra Valley. Both sites offer the same cherry‑picking experience, similar landscapes, premium boxed cherries, cherry beverages, merchandise and rotating food trucks and live music on weekends.

Do I have to buy a ticket for my infant?

Infants aged 0–3 years require a ticket, but there is no charge for them.

What should I wear and bring?

Bring a water bottle, sunscreen, umbrella or waterproof coat, closed‑toe comfortable shoes, cash/credit card, phone and your ticket (a QR code on your smartphone is acceptable).

How long does cherry‑picking take?

You are allocated a two‑hour cherry‑picking timeslot with an additional half hour allowed for administration such as check in and payment.

Are the cherries free to eat if I pay for entry?

Yes — you can eat as many cherries as you like during your two‑hour picking session. Any cherries you wish to take home at the end of your session will be charged per kilo.

Is there food or do I need to bring my own?

There are food vendors and a café on site and Picnic Packs can be pre‑purchased for event days; you are also welcome to bring your own picnic. Note you cannot bring cooking equipment such as BBQs or stoves.

Do I need to print my ticket?

You do not need to print your ticket; staff will scan the QR code on a PDF ticket shown on your smartphone.

Can we bring our own alcohol?

No. Because this is a licenced event the public are prohibited from bringing their own alcohol.

Are there shuttle buses on the orchard?

Yes. Shuttle buses operate on the orchard if the best picking locations are more than a 5–10 minute walk away, for guest safety and convenience.

Are dogs allowed?

With the exception of the Blossom Festival (a dog‑friendly event), animals are not permitted in the orchard; assistance animals are allowed.
