Recommended items include a 6‑weight rod (a 5 wt can suffice), reel with floating line, terminal tackle (flies, leaders, tippet) which is available in the fly shop, a raincoat, polarized sunglasses, sunscreen and a fishing hat.
Guides provide a boat, safety equipment (PFD), transportation to and from the river, lunch and soft drinks; if you need a rod and reel, these can be supplied by the operator.

The guided trip price includes one boat for one to two clients, transportation to and from the river, lunch and soft drinks, a fly rod and reel if needed, and safety equipment on the river (PFD).
What isn't included in the price?
Wyoming fishing license and conservation stamp are required but not included; terminal tackle such as flies, leaders and tippet is also not included, and guide gratuities are optional.
Do you provide gear if I don't have my own?
Yes—rod and reel can be provided if needed, and terminal tackle is available for purchase in the operator’s fly shop; guides will assist with selections the morning of the trip.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions for lunch?
Special dietary requirements may be accommodated with at least 24 hours’ notice prior to trip departure.
What rod weight should I bring?
A 6 weight is recommended; a 5 weight will suffice in many situations.
