You may take your catch home or enjoy it onboard. The operator does not offer vacuum packing or shipping for flights; if you choose not to take or consume the fish, arrangements exist to serve it to other guests or donate it locally. Guests bringing fish when leaving Norway must submit proper documentation to customs.
Will the trip be cancelled if it's raining?
Trips run rain or shine; they are cancelled only if weather conditions are unsafe (high winds or storms), in which case the operator will reschedule or provide a full refund. The yacht has warm indoor spaces to shelter between fishing spots.
What kind of fish will I catch?
You may catch cod, pollock, mackerel and sometimes halibut.
What food and drinks are available onboard?
A Norwegian fish soup (with fresh catch) and bread are served; if you don't catch fish, a vegetable soup is provided. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, water and cookies are included.
