Outing Highlights
A living bay — seasonal stars and year-round visitors
Jervis Bay delivers a changing cast: octopus and woebegone sharks, stingrays and dolphins show up year-round, while Port Jackson sharks, grey nurse sharks and giant cuttlefish appear on seasonal schedules.
Breathwork, equalisation and meditation before you enter the water
The expedition begins with land-based instruction in breathing, equalisation and breath holding and includes guided meditation to make the in-water experience more relaxed and rewarding.
Beginner-friendly freediving with in-water support
No prior snorkelling or freediving experience is necessary: instructors provide a lesson on-site and remain beside you in the water; floats are available on request for added security.
What the day feels like
How the two hours flow
The expedition is a compact mix of shore-based training and guided time in the bay: expect a dry-land session covering breathing techniques, equalisation, breath-holding and meditation, followed by an in-water guided snorkel/freedive segment where instructors stay close and the group explores whatever the wild ocean offers.

Details to review before reserving
Warm clothes, hat, wind/rain jacket, towel, swimmers and a water bottle are recommended; bring your own dive equipment if you prefer.
A 5mm wetsuit is highly recommended during winter and spring; hire suits provided by the operator are 5mm if you need to rent for the day.
If you are prone to motion sickness, take seasickness tablets (Kwells are commonly suggested) — organizers note that motion sickness can spoil the experience.
You may bring your own GoPro or camera. The operator films the expedition and can provide a WeTransfer link to the footage for a fee of $50.
