Set on Hilton Head Island, Seafood Fest’s Try Archery is an outdoors, beginner-friendly session led by USA Archery–certified instructors. Over a focused two-hour span participants of any age learn basic technique, safety protocols and get hands-on shooting time on a 10-target outdoor range using a Genesis Compound Bow.

Sessions are run by USA Archery–certified instructors who provide basic instruction and a safety-first learning environment, so even first-timers leave with core range skills.
Shoot a Genesis Compound Bow on a 10-target range
Participants will have the opportunity to shoot a Genesis Compound Bow at various targets located on a dedicated 10-target outdoor range, giving ample repetition across different distances and target faces.
Two hours of concentrated practice for all skill levels
The event is structured as a two-hour, small-group experience designed for participants of all skill levels to learn, practice and build comfort on the range.

What the session feels like
You arrive to a field-range setting, gather with the instructor for safety and fundamentals, then move through guided practice and shooting rotations. The format balances demonstration, individual coaching and target practice so participants progress from basics to repeated, coached shots within the two-hour window.
