Each day follows a tight rhythm: meet your group, run safety and warm‑ups, then spend focused time in the water under instructor supervision. Lessons are designed to maximise wave time and progression — expect shore briefing, a 15–20 minute theory and warm‑up block, followed by roughly 1–1.5 hours in the water for beginner and kids classes depending on conditions.

Surf camps operate from March through December; lesson times for days 2–5 vary by season (summer early mornings, shoulder seasons later).

Check in at the COLD HAWAII BOARD SHOP; afterwards cross the road into the facility to meet instructors, get changed and prepare for the lesson.

How long will I actually be in the water?

What are the lesson times?
The first day lesson is at 13:00. For days 2–5: July–August lessons run 08:00–10:00; April–June and September–October 10:00–12:00. Always meet 30 minutes before the lesson.
