Dress for deep cold: snow suit or warm outerwear, thermal base layers, warm hat and gloves or mittens, spare socks and pants, scarf or neck gaiter, and sunglasses or ski goggles. Sunscreen and lip balm are recommended. Note that certain footwear (bottine and bottillon) is prohibited.
If you lack heavy cold‑weather gear, the operator offers rentals on site for a fee—boots, mittens, coats and pants are available to rent.
