Australia’s longest-mapped whitewater trail
The Clarence Canoe & Kayak Trail is the longest mapped whitewater trail in Australia, covering more than 195 km from Nymboi-Binderay National Park to Copmanhurst and offering a wide variety of paddling conditions.
Shuttle logistics plus local river expertise
Shuttles operate on the Boyd and Nymboida rivers and the operator brings more than 35 years of local whitewater experience, monitoring river heights and providing safety briefings and real-time updates while you are on the river.
Comprehensive hire and safety equipment
Beyond canoe hire, the outfitter offers camping, satellite and rescue equipment, advises on waterproofing (including canoe barrels and clip-seal bags), and can provide half- or full-day whitewater training as part of hire or preparation.
What the day feels like
How the day feels
The one-day shuttle and hire package is designed to minimize shore-side friction: transport, trailers and equipment logistics are handled so you can focus on river time. An experienced guide or operator presents a safety and river-skill briefing before launch, monitors river heights and your location during the outing, and can adjust plans or cancel hires if conditions exceed safe limits.

Details to review before reserving
Bring personal items in spare large clip-seal bags; use high-quality garbage bags (for example Multix Garden Drawtight) to waterproof 60L canoe barrels. Note: dry bags do not fit efficiently into canoe barrels.
The operator hires more than canoes — an extensive list includes camping, satellite and rescue equipment; canoe barrels are standard for gear waterproofing and the operator can advise on packing.
Review cancellation policies before reserving.
