Fully qualified paddleboarding instructors lead technique-focused lessons from basics to stand-up paddling and safe re-entry; instruction is designed to get beginners up and paddling efficiently.

THE SETUP

Small groups and all kit supplied

Sessions are run in small groups (up to 12 participants) with equipment provided at no extra cost, making it straightforward to arrive prepared and start learning.

What the day feels like

What the session feels like

Expect a compact, hands-on progression: a shore-side safety briefing, practice carrying and launching your board, drills in prone paddling and stance, then coached attempts at standing and paddling while instructors circulate and offer technique adjustments. The pace is measured to suit beginners, with emphasis on safety and confidence-building.

Suitability

Who it's for

Who this session suits — and when to think twice.

1
Beginner paddlersAn ideal entry-level option: the session is designed for newcomers, with qualified instructors and a focus on basic skills and safety; suitable for first-timers aged 10 and up.
2
Active familiesFamilies with older children (10+) can participate together in small-group sessions; the curriculum and group size make it manageable for mixed-ability groups.
3
Solo learnersSolo travelers who want structured tuition will find the instructor-led format reassuring — groups are small and the instructor-to-participant focus accelerates learning.
4
Experienced paddlersThose with paddling experience can use the session for technique refinement, but should note the lesson focus is beginners’ progression rather than advanced coaching.
