On the West Coast at Gairloch, a guided stand up paddleboarding session folds instruction and exploration into a single outing: qualified instructors take you through the basics before leading a coastal paddle where seals, jellyfish, sea birds and even porpoise or dolphins are commonly seen.

Decades of teaching and local surf experience
The program is run by seasoned instructors; the head instructor has more than ten years’ teaching experience in kayaking and additional credentials in windsurfing and surfing, ensuring thorough, experienced tuition for beginners and seasoned paddlers alike.
Everything you need — except transport
Wetsuit hire, board hire, instruction and a buoyancy aid are included in the session; participants only need to arrange their own transport and footwear (trainers are suitable).
