The day begins with an early pickup in Stavanger and a scenic roughly 2.5-hour drive to the Eagle’s Nest trailhead. From there the trail climbs through shifting mountain terrain; reaching the Kjerag plateau typically takes two to three hours, followed by time to eat, photograph and take in the fjord before returning—expect the full outing to occupy about thirteen hours, with a planned return to Stavanger around 18:00.
