Outing Highlights
A Deliberate Practice, Session by Session
Each meet-up delivers a new intention-setting handout and a sequence of journaling prompts and reflective questions intended to be completed in order, designed to help clarify what’s genuinely important and set tone for the months ahead.
Short Winter Hikes with Movement and Meditation
Sessions begin with light yogic warm-ups, include somatic movement during or after the hike, and a guided meditation; hikes are typically 1.5 to 2 miles and complemented by post-hike reflection time.
Small Group Reflection and Creative Time
After the loop hike and a brief break, the group reconvenes for journaling, snacks and creative activities either at the paddleboard shop or, when weather allows, back at the park—this communal portion reinforces integration and shared discovery.
What the day feels like
What an Afternoon Feels Like
Expect a three-hour rhythm: meet at the designated launch, check in and do light warm-up stretches, walk a 60–80 minute loop that brings the group back to the cars, then take a bathroom break before settling into an hour-plus of journaling, guided reflection and creative work either at the paddleboard shop or outdoors when the weather permits.
