The overnight investigation is scheduled overnight; the program includes a defined start and end time and is offered seven days a week—allow at least 24 hours to schedule. Check available dates on the operator calendar.
Participants must sign a waiver prior to the visit. Note that drugs, alcohol, guns, tasers, fireworks or weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited.
Parking is available at the prison. Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary operates in the Eastern Time Zone.

What are the event hours?
The program runs overnight with a guided portion beginning at 9 PM Eastern and the investigation continuing through to 4 AM Eastern.
How long is the investigation?
The overnight investigation is 7 hours in duration.
What age can attend?
Visitors must be 18 years of age to book; minors aged 16–17 are permitted only when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Is there a minimum group size?
Yes. There is a minimum of 8 people required for the tour to run; if minimums are not met the tour will be rescheduled and you will be notified up to two weeks before the date.
Are there items that are prohibited on the tour?
Yes. Drugs, alcohol, beer, wine, guns, tasers, fireworks or weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited.
How soon can I schedule an investigation?
Overnight investigations are available seven days a week; please allow a minimum of 24 hours to schedule an investigation.
