At Seven Mile Beach the horizon stretches level and low, the surf a steady percussion beneath the horses’ hooves. Horse Riding Tasmania runs a guided beach ride here that trades speed for sensory detail: the taste of salt in the air, the sound of breakers and the rhythmic motion of travel along sand and shallow water.
