Planning Your Outing

How long is the lesson and how early should I arrive?

The group trail lesson itself runs 45 minutes; participants are asked to arrive 30 minutes early for check‑in and orientation.

What is included in the price?

Price includes private ranch access, a guided trail lesson, a riding instructor, safety gear, and horse & tack rental.

Are there age or weight limits?

Riders must be at least 5 years old; minors must be accompanied by a family member aged 18 or older. The weight limit is 250 lbs and only one rider per horse is permitted.

What is the cancellation and rescheduling policy?

Cancellations made more than 72 hours in advance qualify for a 75% refund; activities are 25% non‑refundable. Rescheduling must be made at least 72 hours before the booking.

What happens if it rains?

The ranch rides rain or shine; they provide rain slickers and may recommend gloves. If weather is deemed too dangerous to ride, you will get a rain check, rescheduling, or a Rainy Day Rodeo Ride in the covered arena.

Are helmets provided?

Yes — helmets are required for all riders and are provided by the ranch with no exceptions.
