The tour moves at an exploratory pace: a safety briefing and gear setup at the launch give way to guided paddling across the sheltered basin, short pauses for wildlife viewing and photo stops, and intermittent instruction on strokes and technique—all framed by the low, rocky coastlines of southern Vancouver Island.
